Known for her angelic voice, perfectly blended harmonies and engaging rhythms, singer songwriter Megan Leigh from Western Maryland has been performing to audiences in the Washington DC area and all over the country.

Conjuring powerful momentum during just her first year of full-time musicianship, Megan’s versatility and passion for her craft continue to lead her to extraordinary opportunities, including performances in renowned venues such as 9:30 Club in Washington DC, Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, and Mockingbird Theater in Nashville, TN.  She has also opened for American Idol winner Lee DeWyze and embarked on multiple US tours — and if you ask the budding artist, she’ll tell you she’s “just getting started!”

Megan Leigh’s debut solo original “In This Space” will take you deep into an ethereal world with her breathy high notes and grounded musicality.  Her range recalls Mandy Moore’s whispery smooth voice, while the overall sound feels like it dips into Norah Jones’ first album that not only made an impact in the Adult Contemporary scene, but wedged its way in a pop-heavy, beat-driven era.

“Her latest single ‘Symphony’ is a real treat that blends Leigh’s folk stylings and a cappella-perfected vocals with some slight but impactful orchestral arrangements that confidently project a positive outlook on the future, and reminiscent of a Spring the whole world is longing for in more ways than one.” - Alchemical Records

Leigh's debut original song 'The Longest Night of the Year', written and performed with duo partner Eli Lev, reached the Top 20 in the US Folk DJ charts in 2019.  The duo is now writing and releasing cinematic indie folk-pop music under the name Wild Whispers.

Refusing to be limited by genre, Megan Leigh adds her own distinctive sound to a broad range of musical styles, from rock and indie to oldies and soulful blues.

While she is just beginning to jump into the music scene as an artist and find her voice, it’s clear that one element will always stay with this up-and-coming artist: the ability to cut through the noise and help you remember that music has always been about how it makes you feel.

With new original projects in the works, listeners can look forward to compelling upcoming releases from Megan Leigh that push the boundaries of vocalization to create her own striking sonic landscape.
